I really like the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle part # SS52GR for this situation. They engage much more smoothly than the Timbrens part # TFR150RB do. The overall user experience is going to be better for you since you won't feel them engage which is common on the Timbrens. The 1500 lb. capacity is at 50% compression so at about mid stroke the more they get compressed the more weight they take up.

The reason the red wire of the Brake Lite Relay # RM-88400 runs to your fuse box is so that it can connect to a circuit that only sees power when the vehicle is on. When picking out a weight distribution system ideally you go with the one that has a tongue weight range where your trailer's tongue falls right in the middle. So your tongue weight is going to be between 760 lbs and 1,140 lbs.
